Circle News

In January the circles will be studying "God's Reluctant Leaders" which focuses on the stories of 3 Biblical characters, Jonah, Gideon and Moses. There will be a morning, afternoon and evening circle meeting that meet once a month. If any ladies of the church would be interested in joining one of the circles, please call Charlotte Kerrigan (896-3743) or Donna Bestor (896-2249)

Financial Peace Seminar

Cross of Christ will be offering the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace university classes beginning Jan. 15th. It will be part of Adult Education held on Sunday mornings at 10:40 a.m. This life changing program teaches your congregation to achieve their financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future, and giving like never before. They will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for their money and change their family tree forever.

Financial Peace University consists of a 13-week video curriculum taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey that incorporates small group discussions to encourage accountability and discipleship. Financial Peace University is highly entertaining for everyone with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice and Biblical messages. More than one million families have already had their lives changed by attending FJPU.

The cost for class material wil be $70 per family. Please contact the church office or Pastor Lane no later than January 8th so material can be ordered.
